Free Help for Service Members with PTSA

January 13, 2018 by Willy1550

If you’re a Veteran or Service Member suffering from PTSD or know someone who is, there is free help available from Project Remission.

U.T. Health San Antonio’s Dr. Alan Peterson is the lead investigator for Project Remission.  He refers to his Department of Defense and Department of Veterans Affairs-funded four-site study as the M.D. Anderson for PTSD

Peterson says the project’s goal is to provide the most intensive treatment available so-far for PTSD.  There’s a brief introductory session to let you know if you’re eligible that Peterson tells Navasota News can be conducted over the phone.

And if you find out that you are eligible, Peterson says they have the ability to provide free transportation, food, lodging and treatment at one of their four sites.

If you’d like to find out if you are and can spare the three weeks the study will take, Peterson suggests visiting the website strongstar.org/treatment, or calling 210-562-67-26.
