State Honors Navasota Educator

May 6, 2017 by Willy1550

There’s yet another champion in the Navasota School District today.

NISD Superintendent Dr. Stu Musick reports the Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association has named Assistant Principal of the Year in Region Six.  A region, Musick adds that is made up of well over a hundred campuses.

Garrett’s been with the district for the last four years, he continues, starting as Assistant Principal at John C. Webb, then for the last two years at High Point.

And though he’s only known for her for the brief time that he’s been here, Musick tells Navasota News he’s not at all surprised that she was chosen, calling her a fantastic person, both personally and professionally.

Musick says Garrett will officially receive her award at the annual TEPSA Awards Reception next month in the state capitol.

Congratulations to High Point Elementary’s Terry Garrett for being named Assistant Principal of the Year in our region.
