The Girl Scouts are coming to Navasota, and no it’s not cookie season but it is recruitment season. The Scout’s Erica Pope tells Navasota News, the organization has a fun little way for your daughters to start down the path.
Pope says the goal of the Girl Scouts is to instill the three C’s into young women, confidence, courage and character while preparing them for tomorrow.
Along with being heavily involved in science, technology, engineering and mathematics she continues, the scouts are even forming a robotics team in Bryan College Station.
