August 7, 2014 by Archive

BRENHAM, Texas (AP) _ Authorities say a Houston man has been slightly hurt when his glider crashed in a Central Texas field.

The Eagle newspaper (http://bit.ly/1lDFxty ) reports the crash happened late Wednesday afternoon north of Brenham. The glider came to rest about 20 yards from a home.

The Texas Department of Public Safety says the pilot of the one-seat glider sustained minor cuts and declined treatment. His name wasn’t immediately released.

Authorities are trying to determine what caused the Glasflugel H-301 to crash. Further details weren’t immediately available.

Brenham is about 65 miles northwest of Houston.
