Thanks to the Texas A&M system for providing audio of Tuesday’s visit by the governor to the Disaster City Training Complex near Easterwood Airport.
Greg Abbott recalled placing the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) as an agency under the Texas A&M system after Hurricane Harvey.
Other speakers included system Chancellor John Sharp.
The governor announced a $100,000 donation of tools from Stanley/Black and Decker that will be used by the statewide emergency management agency.
