Grant funding to support online learning materials aims to save Texas A&M students more than 2.5 million dollars in annual textbook costs.
Developing digital textbooks that can be read, downloaded, and printed online at no cost, for anyone to use and share freely, was a part of a repot that was given by Provost Alan Sams during this month’s Faculty Senate Meeting.
Sams says there will be additional staff at A&M libraries over the next three years to assist students with accessing free materials for which the university already has licensing.
