Great White Shark Makes Appearance Off Texas Coast Just In Time For Spring Break

March 11, 2024 by Willy1550

Just in time for Spring Break, a Great White Shark has been spotted off the Texas Coast. Chip Micahlove, with the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy, says it went to South Padre and is now headed back up to Corpus Christi.

He says it’s more important to track the movements and habits of Great White Sharks. This one, who traveled alone, was likely looking for food. She’s 14-feet long and weighs more than 2600 pounds, making her an apex predator.
