The Grimes County Ag Extension is now back to full strength. The Extension’s Eric Zimmerman introduced his newest co-worker and your new family and consumer science agent to county commissioners last week.
Before coming here to Grimes, Zimmerman said Meredith Cryer had worked both as an administrative assistant and accounts manager at an accounting firm, and at Sam Houston State University.
He also revealed that Cryer brings with her to Grimes more than a-half-dozen years of experience with the extension office in Waller County, where she conducted several successful health and community-oriented programs.
Zimmerman than relinquished the mic to Cryer, who said her family had just finished a new home near Grimes and doesn’t plan on going anywhere, anytime soon; which came as a great relief to Precinct 3’s Barbara Walker.
The Commissioners then unanimously approved Cryer as the County’s newest Ag-Agent with an enthusiastic welcome.
We at Navasota News add our congratulations to Cryer, and will bring you more about what she has in mind for the agency later, here on Navasota News.
