Navasota Fire Chief, Jason Katkoski, updated council regarding Resolution No. 769-24, adopting the Grimes County 2024 Hazard Mitigation Plan.
Katkoski added that once adopted by council and approved by FEMA, it will go into effect immediately, opening up funding for Grimes County and its municipalities for hazard mitigation funding.
Council unanimously approved the adoption of the resolution.
