At the August 21st Grimes County Commissioners’ Court meeting up for consideration and action, was to approve the resolution to adopt the Grimes County 2024 Hazard Mitigation Action Plan.
Grimes County Emergency Management Services Coordinator, David Lilly, updated the court regarding changes made to the plan.
Lilly added that the plan has been approved by FEMA with an effective backdate of August 9th.
The court unanimously approved the plan.
