Grimes County authorities searching for three kidnapping, robbery suspects

August 15, 2019 by Andre Perrard

The Grimes County Sheriff’s Office needs the public’s help in finding 3 people wanted on charges relating to a violent crime.

According to a press release, the 3 men have warrants out for their arrest on aggravated kidnapping, aggravated battery and aggravated assault.

The individuals are identified as Sebastian Portales, Carl Ray Holmes Jr and Marlon Demon Turner. All three have connections to Iola, College Station, Bryan, Madisonville and the Houston area.

Due to the ongoing investigation, no details of the crime were made available. However, Holmes and Portales were involved in the May 20th incident in Iola, where a victim was beaten, threatened with a knife, stripped and abandoned.

If you encounter these individuals, you are encouraged to not approach them and call 911 immediately.

Tips can be submitted anonymously to the Grimes County Crime Stoppers at 936-873-2000 or the Sheriff’s office at 936-873-2151. Anyone with information leading to an arrest will be eligible for a cash reward.
