Grimes County citizen’s invited to attend public meeting and provide input on future strategic plan

May 18, 2022 by Willy1550

If you have any ideas, thoughts, or comments on the future plan for Grimes County, you will get a rare chance to voice your input at a meeting next week.

“Next Wednesday, May 25th, we are asking the public to come out, and participate in a Resiliency Meeting, hosted by the Brazos Valley Council of Governments (BVCOG). We will discuss the strengths, and weaknesses, of Grimes County so we can create a strategic plan for upcoming years,” said Commissioner Barbara Walker at Wednesday’s meeting of Commissioner’s Court.

That meeting will be at 3 pm May 25th, all taking place at the new Grimes County Justice Center.

County Judge Joe Fauth says it will only be about an hour, but it presents a great opportunity to have your voice heard.

“If you can come out, we want to hear your thoughts on the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges we might face here in Grimes County,” said Fauth.

The public meeting is set for Wednesday, May 25th and will be at the new Grimes County Justice Center.

For questions, contact the county at 936-873-4400.
