Grimes County Clerk’s Office provides free service to protect against property fraud

July 8, 2020 by Willy1550

A new service, provided by the Grimes County Clerk’s Office, can help you get notified of fraudulent claims or transactions regarding Real Property.

According to the Facebook post on Tuesday, the office is offering the service, provided for free by Kofile and the County Clerk, in order to reduce fraudulently recorded documents that may affect property ownership.

You can receive email alerts any time your personal or entity name is used in a Real Property filing within the county.

A link to the service is on the Grimes County Court House Facebook page. Any questions can be directed to 936-873-2111.
