Grimes County Elections Administrator, Rachel Walker, spoke at Wednesday’s meeting of Commissioners Court. She first asked the court about purchasing two new polling pads for residents who have a hard time getting around, and now have the option of curbside voting.
Walker also asked about upgrading two existing polling pads.
The court voted unanimously to approve using the surplus funds from the Elections Office to purchase two polling pads and to upgrade two additional units.
