Grimes County Commissioners’ Court Makes Proclamation Declaring September POW/MIA Remembrance Month, September 20th Recognition Day

September is National POW/MIA Remembrance Month.
At Wednesday’s Grimes County Commissioners’ Court Meeting, American Legion Post 640 Commander, Steve Storey, spoke about it.

Storey went on to present the proclamation to the court.

The Court unanimously approved the proclamation and authorized the POW/MIA Flag to be flown on all county buildings on the Day of Remembrance, September 20, 2024.
