The excessive rain we received in late January caused major road issues throughout the county, including washouts, potholes, and ditch flooding.
At the most recent Commissioners Court meeting, Grimes County Engineer Jon Steiber, gave details about the event, including a timeline for repair in his Road & Bridge Report.
Although it caused a lot of issues, Steiber also explained benefits of an event like this.
It was also noted in the report that ongoing projects are still moving at a steady pace.
