Texas House Bill 3186, also known as “The Texas Youth Diversion and Early Intervention Act,” is a law that provides an alternative to fines for minors charged with certain misdemeanor crimes.
Grimes County Justice of the Peace Precinct 3, Mark Laughlin, spoke about it during the public comments section at the November 20th meeting of Grimes County Commissioners Court.
