The Grimes County Road and Bridge Department has been busy over the past month with several rounds of storms and a tornado causing damage. County Engineer, Jon Steiber gave his road and bridge report to the Commissioners’ Court on Wednesday.
Steiber began with getting the roads passable after the storms.
He also reported on tree removal due to a tornado at county road 115 in Bedias.
Steiber said there were about 10 major road washouts they were able to repair, as well as bridge repairs.
