Navasota ISD is getting to add in some air purifiers to the classrooms, and more, thanks to assistance from the Coronavirus Relief Fund in Grimes County.
According to the district, the maintenance team has been installing them this week in the classrooms, offices, and student areas. But, over the next couple of weeks, they will also be installed in all of the district buses.
The district says they view these implementation as additional steps to keep the students, staff, and community healthy and safe.
The district thanked Grimes County Judge Joe Fauth, the Commissioner’s Court, the NISD School Board, and Superintendent Dr. Stu Musick for approving the implementations, and taking action in keeping the schools healthy.
