The Texas Senate has passed its final version of redistricting its boundaries.
Changes for Grimes County senator Charles Schwertner, who voted for S-B four, includes dropping Grimes County and seeing senate district five expand west with the addition of Milam, Bastrop, Comal, Blanco, Kendall, and western Travis and Hays counties.
Grimes County would be added to the district represented by Lois Kolkhorst of Brenham.
Schwertner would continue to represent Walker, Robertson, Madison, Leon, Limestone, Freestone, and nearly all of Williamson counties.
