Grimes County Left “Over A Barrel” Due To Illegal Dumping

On December 31st, 2023, eight barrels with unknown contents were located along CR 306 in Grimes County.

Chris Kiehl with Masters ARS Emergency Response Company, gave an update on the barrels and their contents at Wednesday’s Grimes County Commissioners Court.

The final cost of the identification, clean-up and disposal of the barrels and the contents will not be known until each barrel has been profiled and sent to the disposal locations. Grimes County Judge Fauth says that if you witness anyone dumping illegally, please notify the Grimes County Sheriff’s Office.
