The primary runoff elections took place yesterday, and Grimes County results are in.
In the race for State Representative, District 12, Trey Wharton won with 67.50% of the vote over Ben Bius.
Grimes County Constable Precinct 3 race saw Gary Bender win with 56.92% of the vote over Courtney Armstead.
And in the race for Justice, 14th Court of Appeals, Place 3, Velda Renita Faulkner carried the race with 69.29% over Jerry Zimmerer.
The next round of elections will be on Tuesday, November 5, which includes the Presidential race.
