February 11, 2025 by Willy1550

According to a press release from the Grimes County Sheriff’s Office, “On February 1, 2025, Grimes County Sheriff’s Office received a business alarm at Haynie’s General Store in Richards. Deputies arrived to discover a burglary had taken place and a large number of vape products were stolen.

On February 10, 2025, the Standley Feed Store in Iola was broken into around 5:27 a.m. Four subjects, possibly black males, stole approximately $4000 worth of merchandise, including header/heeler ropes and Case Knives. The suspect’s vehicle appears to be an SUV, unknown color, and was observed traveling northbound on FM 39.

Suspects are possibly the same for both locations.

If you have any information, please contact the Grimes County Crime Stoppers at 936-873-2000, or go to http://p3tips.com
All callers will remain anonymous, and anyone with information leading to an arrest may be eligible for a cash reward.”
