The Grimes County Sheriff’s Office has its newest Criminal Investigator.
The office announced over the holiday weekend that deputy Van Snook has been promoted to the Criminal Investigator position, where he will work under Lieutenant James Ellis.
Snook began his career in July 2014 with Grimes County as a Patrol Deputy, after attending the Central Texas Police Academy.
He eventually worked his way to being Patrol Sergeant before the promotion.
