A string of burglaries in the southern portion of Grimes County has the Sheriff’s Office asking for the public’s assistance.

The Office posted to Facebook on Wednesday that, in the last month, deputies have responded to at least two confirmed burglary locations involving, what Sheriff Don Sowell believes, to be the same group of individuals.

The locations were each unoccupied at the time of the burglaries, but it appears from surveillance phots they were all armed. In total, the Grimes county Sheriff’s Office identified five suspects, all of which appear to travel in the same vehicle.

The photo above shows the individuals on camera, wearing black with hoods and gloves. The photo was ultimately too dark to decipher the car’s information.

If you recognize the individuals, or have any information regarding the case, contact Investigator JJ Jones at 936-73-6436. You can also submit tips anonymously to Grimes County Crimestoppers.
