September 6th, The Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ), took swift and immediate action to address a rise in dangerous contraband and drug-related homicides by implementing a systemwide lockdown and comprehensive searches.
Both the O.L. Luther Unit & Wallace Pack Unit, located in Grimes County have since come off of lockdown status and resumed visitation.
Inmate visitations for units not on lockdown can be scheduled through the TDCJ visitation portal.
