Two College Station men are facing numerous charges after taking Navasaota Police on a high speed chase through Grimes and Washington County.
Around midnight on Tuesday, NPD spotted a stolen Honda in the 700 block of West Virginia Street. As the car headed to FM 375, and officers tried a traffic stop, and it fled towards Highway 105.
Eventually, with assistance from Texas DPS, the suspects hit spike strips, and the chase ended at Highway 105 and Blue Bell Road.
The juvenile driver fled on foot, and was apprehended quickly. The passenger, 19 year old Jaylon Walter of College Station, was also arrested.
Recovered by police was an assault weapon, with accessories, and ammunition to another gun.
The unidentified juvenile faces charges of Unlawful Use of a Motor Vehicle, two counts of Evading Arrest, Unlawful Caryring of a Weapon, and Tampering with Evidence.
Walter faces charges of Tampering with Evidence.
Assisting in the chase as well was Brenham Police, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, and the Blinn College Police Department.
