A fatal accident on Friday morning shut down Northbound lanes of Highway 6 for several hours.
A motorcycle was involved in a crash with a pickup truck around 6:30 am. The bike was then forced to drive into a ditch between the highway and feeder road near the Anderson and Brenham exit.
Navasota Police say the driver of the pickup tried performing CPR on the driver of the motorcycle. However, the motorcycle driver passed away at the scene.
The identity of the motorcycle driver has not been released yet and the crash remains under investigation.
