Texas DPS is asking for the public’s help in a fatal hit and run crash.

That crash happened last Friday around 7:30 pm in Montgomery. That is where a Truck Tractor/Semi Trailer was stopped at a stop sign, northbound on Mt Mariah Road. A 1998 F-150 was travelling eastbound on Highway 105, when the semi truck failed to yield the right of way turning left, causing the collision.

The driver of the Ford, identified as 67 year old Gary Lee Frank of Montgomery, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Anyone with information is asked to call Multi-County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-392-STOP (7867), with a reward up to $1,000.
