Human remains found in the Sam Houston National Forest earlier this month have been identified as a California woman.
The remains of the now identified Felicia Johnson were found February 7th by a TXDOT worker near Flamingo Lakes Road and Highway 149, just east of Dacus.
Johnson, who was the victim of a Houston homicide in 2022, was identified via dental records.
The suspect in the case, Chukwuebuka Nwobodo of Houston, has been charged, but remains at large.
No further information has been released.
