A school bus crash near the Grime county line on Thursday resulted in injuries.
State Troopers say all 23 people aboard the Huntsville ISD bus were taken to the hospital, either by ambulance or by bus. The bus rolled over on FM 1791 near Taliaferro Road at Montgomery and Grimes County line just east of Richards.
Deputies said the bus was carrying students to a freshman football game in Montgomery when the crash occurred. Witnesses said the bus left the roadway and rolled when the driver attempted to over correct.
The driver will be cited, according to Texas DPS. Authorities say that, based on the conditions on the road, he was going too fast when the crash occurred.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
