A Walker County man, and suspected drug dealer, was arrested on Monday after authorities found more than 100 grams of illegal narcotics.
Huntsville Police and SWAT executed a search warrant on Monday on McCollum Drive in Huntsville.
In the home, authorities found two grams of methamphetamine, two grams of an unknown pharmaceutical, synthetic marijuana and ecstasy pills. Also confiscated was a scale and bags used to distribute the drugs.
The man was arrested and identified as 26 year old Cory Archie of Huntsville. Authorities also said Archie tried to run away during the arrest.
It is his 5th arrest since 2011 and he was also wanted for an aggravated assault in January. He faces charged of Manufacturing and Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Dangerous Drug and Evading Arrest alongside his January warrant.
Archie was booked into the Waller County Jail on bonds totaling $74,500.
