Hutto woman, with warrant out of Grimes County, arrested in College Station in stolen vehicle

A Hutto woman, with a warrant for criminal tress pass out of Grimes County, was arrested on Monday, after being found in College Station in a stolen vehicle.

According to the College Station Police arrest report, they responded to the Microtel Inn & Suites for an agency assist by request of the Grimes County Sheriff’s Office, regarding the female. She broke the criminal trespass warning in attempts to kidnap her daughter from her ex-boyfriend.

The report says that Grimes County deputies informed CSPD she may be driving a stolen vehicle, which was confirmed stolen from Corpus Christi. The woman admitted to taking the vehicle from a dealership after completing a test drive.

She was arrested, and identified as 37 year old Rachael Jeanne Morris of Hutto. She was charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, plus had the warrant out of Grimes County.

Morris remains in the Brazos County jail on bonds totaling $30,000.
