Texas DPS is investigating a hit and run crash this weekend that injured a Navasota woman.
That happened Sunday night around 10 pm, when a silver passenger car was travelling southbound on County Road 419 in Navasota. That is where 27 year old Irma Alaniz was walking southbound on the roadway, when that vehicle struck her.
Alaniz was taken to the hospital with minor injuries. The car fled the scene, but are now missing their passenger side mirror.
An investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made.
