Iola ISD students will have to all learn remotely this week, as a few positive COVID-19 tests have closed campuses in the district.
According to the district, there were positive tests at Iola High School and elementary school. No names are going to be released for privacy.
As far as activities go, Iola High School has canceled football and volleyball activities this week, and they may resume on September 8th. The district did mention that all activities for the Junior High may resume as scheduled, including football and volleyball.
Deep cleaning of the buildings began on Friday, and students will be doing learning online through September 4th.
