Iola ISD announces football attendance plans

August 19, 2020 by Andre Perrard

Iola ISD has announced their plans for football game attendance this fall.

According to the release from the district on Wednesday, the UIL is asking districts to utilize remote ticketing options, to help manae capacity and keep them around 50 percent.

Attendees to games, including media, will be screened prior to entry, and be required to wear face coverings. Tickets will not be sold at the gates.

Iola will be doing pre-sale tickets to all the games in the front office. There will be 250 tickets for home games, and 200 for away games. However, only home game tickets are being sold right now.

Senior citizen passes will be honored, however, you must still obtain a ticket from the school office. Pre-sale ticket purchases are guaranteed entry to the games.

Iola ISD faculty, staff and students may get in with no cost, but must have a ticket.

All tickets will be $5.
