The Iola Lady Bulldogs are Class 2A State Champions, after they took down Crawford on Saturday afternoon.
Iola won the match 3-1, taking each set 25-21, 25-20, 19-25, and 25-17.
Candace Hoyle was named MVP for the Bulldogs, with 26 kills on the afternoon. On their playoff run, Iola beat Cross Roads, Colmesneil, Evadale, Gary, Beckville, Thrall, and finally, Crawford.
The win brings Iola their 3rd volleyball state championship, having won titles in 2014 and 2015 as well.
