An Iola man is accused of trafficking meth after a traffic stop in Brazos County on Tuesday.
The Brazos County Sheriff’s Office says they stopped a pickup truck and trailer near Highway 47 for the turn signal on the trailer not working. They made contact with the driver, identified as 47 year old Joseph Tedesco of Iola, and discovered he had an invalid license.
They also determined the license plate on the truck he was driving was fake. A search of the truck then yielded around 29 grams of meth in a container.
Tedesco was arrested on charges of Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance, Driving with an Invalid License, and Displaying a Fictitious License Plate.
It is Tedesco’s 22nd time in jail since 1994, and he remains jailed on bonds totaling $18,000.
