Iola woman facing Harassment charges after threatening her ex-boyfriend’s current girlfriend

July 21, 2022 by Willy1550

An Iola woman was taken to jail on charges of harassing her ex boyfriends current girlfriend.

The arrest report from College Station Police says they were called to the apartment on Marion Pugh by the man, who said his ex girlfriend was there making obscene gestures at the security camera.

The man filed a harassment report, saying that in early May, his ex began sending him vulgar communication via social media, text, and voicemail.

The screenshot images ranged from the woman saying his girlfriend “would die of cancer,” and that she would “destroy her.” The harassment stopped for awhile, as the two agreed to only communicate about the care of their juvenile children. But, the messages began again in late June, where the ex girlfriend called the man’s current girlfriend “thunder thighs,” among other names.

Arrested on Wednesday afternoon was 40 year old Rachael Ann McCarthy of Iola.

She faces a charge of Harassment, and was released after posting a $2,000 bond.
