Iola woman reappointed to Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners

A Grimes County resident has been named by Governor Gregg Abbott to the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners.

According to a release from the governor’s office, Abbott appointed three people to the board, which licenses and regulates occupational therapy services in the State of Texas. One of the reappointed members is Jennifer Clark of Iola.

Clark works at College Station Med Therapy Center. She is a member of the American Association of Occupational Therapy Assistant. She also served as vice president of the Student Occupational Therapy Association and is a former member of the Iola Community Center Board.

Clark’s term is set to run through February 1st of 2025. The other two new members appointed by Governor Abbott were Eddie Jessie of Houston, a Texas A&M graduate, and Todd Novosad of Austin.
