K-9 Officer newest addition to Texas A&M Police

June 24, 2019 by Willy1550

Texas A&M police have announced the addition of K-9 officer Mays.

Funding for the one and a half year old German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix, who comes from Poland, comes from A&M’s Mays Business School strategic philanthropy class and the K-9s-4-COPs foundation.

The K-9’s partner is officer Cody Clemens. The duo recently completed a 120 hour course where Mays was recently certified as an explosives detection dog.

In addition to daily duties on the A&M campus and local community, Mays will provide support at sporting and special events and to law enforcement agencies in the area.
