Lanterns, Legends, and Graveyards

October 23, 2014 by Willy1550

With Halloween next week, the Navasota Theatre Alliance is once again taking to the local graveyard later this week, in the second annual Lanterns and Legends.

Alliance’s Earline Rainy tells Navasota News, this year’s theme is the brave and the grave, portraying people who have lead and sometimes died in the service of others.

The actors and researchers have gone beyond to make sure the people are portrayed accurately: from dress to accent, and most of all with respect.

And if you want to be in a group you’d better hurry fast, as Rainy says spots are filling fast.

And she continues, if you have someone who’s a little skittish when you put graves and the dark together, there is also a matinee Sunday afternoon at 2 instead of the one starting at 7.
