A College Station man has admitted to possessing hundreds of pictures of child pornography. 61 year old James Daves-Peterson was arrested in February of last year after his mechanic told Bryan police he found inappropriate pictures of 10 to 12 year old girls. Daves-Peterson could be out of prison in as little as six months then placed on probation as part of a ten year prison sentence. He is also required to register as a lifetime sex offender.
In an unrelated case, the attorney general’s office cyber crimes unit made an arrest in a Bryan trailer park accusing a northeast Texas man of possessing child pornography. 45 year old Robert Lawrence is out of jail after posting bonds totaling 40 thousand dollars. During the search of the fifth wheel travel trailer parked near Coulter Field, investigators found several electronic devices containing five illegal videos involving children between the ages of four and ten.
