The First United Methodist Church in Navasota is now a partner with the Salvation Army as a representative here in Grimes County. They have many programs that can benefit residents who are having a difficult time. According to Pastor Matt Cecil, one way they can help is with rental or utility assistance.
Cecil says there are certain things you need to bring with you if you come in for help with rent or a utility bill.
The church has a special Salvation Army day each month where they serve lunch to everyone who wants to come in for help.
