Local landowners forming association to challenge Brazos River Authority on Navasota River flooding

A couple of area landowners are forming an association to challenge the Brazos River Authority on flooding.

According to a press release from Cheryl Langford and Mike Southerland, they are forming the Navasota River Landowners. It will not be advocating anything except “the change of poor management practices that flood the land,” according to the statement.

They will be holding an online meeting, where folks can voice their issues and discuss details.
