This year’s Grimes County GOP Reagan Dinner will feature Trevor Loudin as guest speaker. County Chair Susan Patrick says he’s an author, filmmaker and journalist from New Zealand.
And because of things that have happened in the past in his country, Patrick says he’s found a tie between the activities of Communists and the American Government. And even though a lot of us don’t think we have Communists in our government, we do.
The 13th annual Reagan Dinner’s Saturday, February 3rd at the County Expo Center. The bar’ll open at 5:30, beginning the social hour, followed by Leona’s Steakhouse Dinners at 6:30. And Patrick promises the intellectual bill of fare will be every bit as delicious as the meal.
Patrick tells Navasota News the annual Reagan Dinner is the group’s only fundraiser of the year. She says they help good, strong Republican candidates get elected, both in Grimes County and beyond. They also believe in living their values, Patrick adds, so this past year they have given $500 a month to area food banks in the county.
Reservations to this year’s 13th annual Grimes County GOP Reagan Dinner are only $50, but must be received by Monday, the 29th. Call Karen Hale at 936-894-2249, or email kjhale@embarqmail.com.
