Two horses shot and killed in Madison County has prompted an investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.
Madison County authorities say that happened over the weekend near Greenbriar and Hendrix Lane, north of Madisonville.
The horses were taken to the Texas A&M Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Lab on Monday for a necropsy and evidence collection.
