Bryan Police have arrested a Madisonville man on charges of Intoxication Assault Causing Serious Bodily Injury.
Authorities responded to a west side Bryan neighborhood just before 3:30 am on Wednesday morning. Upon arrival, they found a 25 year old woman lying on Marquis Drive. She had injuries, according to the arrest report, that appeared to have been caused by the rear wheels of a dually pick up running over her legs and lower back.
The driver had bite marks on his arm, and scratches over his left eye and on the chest, according to one officer. The driver told officers that the woman bit and assaulted him before leaving her home and getting in his truck.
The man was identified as 34 year old Garrett Parker of Madisonville. He is out of jail after posting bonds totaling $25,000.
