Madisonville man, and former Bedias resident, faces assault on officer charge after fight while already in jail

August 29, 2022 by Willy1550

A fight in the Brazos County jail which ends with an officer being assaulted adds a litany of additional charges to those already facing a Madisonville man, and former Bedias resident.

The incident happened last Thursday, when officers responded to an area of the jail to break up a fight between inmates.

As officers worked to remove the two involved, the report says 21 year old Elisha Nathaniel Mosley began resisting officers, and when help arrived, forcefully kicked one of the officers in the leg.

Mosley, who was in jail on several warrants out of Cameron Parish, Louisiana, was eventually subdued. He faces a new charge of Assault of a Public Servant.

He remains in jail without bond.
