One suspect has been apprehended after a hit-and-run crash in Madisonville.
That happened around 8:30 am on Wednesday morning, when officers responded to the vehicular crash at Highway 21 and Interstate 45. The man who caused the crash fled the scene, which resulted in a subsequent manhunt by the Madison County Sheriff’s Office and Madisonville Police.
Police later caught up to the man and arrested him. He was identified as 19 year old Jacobi Erickson.
Also assisting Madisonville PD was the Leon County Sheriff’s Office and the Texas Highway Patrol.
No word on charges for Erickson.
